Open and taster days

We hold one Open Day event for each of the main entry points of the school.

A Prep School Open Morning is held in October, Senior School Open Morning early in November and the Sixth Form Open Evening in mid-November.

We hold a Taster Day in March for the Sixth Form to sample life in the Sixth Form. This is followed by an Induction week after GCSE’s where pupils are prepared for the following academic year.

For those entering the first year of the Senior School an Induction day takes place towards the end of the Summer Term.

These all provide an excellent opportunity to see what life at Birkdale is really like.
