Inter School Orchestra Day at Birkdale School

Many musically talented Y5 and Y6 from Dobcroft and Hunters Bar Junior Schools, Sheffield High and Birkdale Prep Schools, all spent the day at Birkdale Senior School performing together as part of one large orchestra.
The pupils ranged in skill from Grade 1 to Grade 5. The aim was to produce a musical event based on this one day of rehearsal, for their parents to listen to at the end of the day.
Considering how challenging this was for each musician, the outcome was extremely impressive and the teachers involved were very happy indeed with the outcome.
