Birkdale Prep at the Broomhill Festival

On Tuesday 12th June boys from the Prep School participated in the Broomhill Festival 2007: Broomhill at Play.
Before a packed audience at St. Mark’s Church the orchestra, choir and stringfellows performed a number of items.
Over two evenings the festival puts together a number of schools from within the Broomhill festival in a spirit of friendship and sharing music together. Mr. D. Jones, (Director of Music, Prep School) said, “The quality of musical performance from everybody on both evenings was superb. I was particularly delighted with the singing of the choir, who appeared for the first time this year.”
Many thanks to Mr. Jones, Mr. Vickers, Mrs. Tipple, Mr. Smith and Mr. Sanderson and of course all the boys for all their hard work.
