British Mathematical Olympiad

Last term Paul Denver and Alistair Wardrope qualified for the first round of the British Mathematical Olympiad. They each sat a grueling 3.5 hour paper consisting of very hard questions.
Both managed to correctly answer some questions. Paul Denver has successfully qualified for round two of this competition and receives a certificate of Distinction in recognition of this.
Paul will now sit another 3.5 hour paper on 30th January and his performance on that will determine whether he qualifies to represent Great Britain at the International Math’s Olympiad later this year.
