Birkdale Sixth Form Play - The Princess Bride

The Sixth Form solely executed a very entertaining production based on the film “The Princess Bride”. It was ably produced and directed by Richard Holland and Josh Littlewood both in the Upper Sixth.
A Monty Pythonesque romp through Medieval Spain via Durham, this was a play about how fairy tales really should be; the ending even got changed to ensure it was a happy one!
Full of humour and clever dialogue it thoroughly entertained the packed audience over the two evening performances.
