Birkdale U15 Rugby Success

The U15 team have played seven games to reach the last 16 of the prestigious Daily Mail Vase competition.
Birkdale were victorious in their recent game against St Peters, York, even though the score finished 17 - 17 Birkdale are the winners as the away side. They now progress through to the North final against Woodhouse Grove School, Bradford, which will be played at Birkdale. They are now only three matches away from playing at Twickenham!
The Daily Mail Competitions continue to allow teams from all over the country to play against teams against whom they would not normally play during the season and of course there is the added incentive of playing at Twickenham should your team go through the competition undefeated. This in itself has inspired players to some excellent performances in their drive to win through to the Finals.
