Sharing Faith at Birkdale
12 December 2007

Boys from Birkdale Preparatory School performed their annual nativity play this week to parents and friends.
Birkdale is a Christian School, welcoming pupils from all faiths. Christian values inform every area of school life. The Christmas story provides the opportunity for pupils to share the true meaning of Christmas and tell the story of the birth of Jesus.
Boys at Birkdale enjoy learning about a range of religious festivals throughout the year which is vital to promoting tolerance and understanding.
Mrs Anne Camm, Senior Mistress said “Much has been said in the press about the relevance of the traditional nativity. All our boys have thoroughly enjoyed participating in the play, regardless of faith. The boys did a fantastic job”.
