Congratulations to Birkdale Maths Winners

The winning team
Ten Birkdale boys from Y6 went to Sheffield Hallam to compete in the 13th Pop Maths Quiz
Two teams were entered and both teams did very well indeed. The winning team scored 18/20 which put them in the top 5 teams overall. They then had a play off question to answer, which they won to come first out of 60 competing teams.
A huge trophy was presented to them to keep for a year; a £5 book token each; a plaque and £50 for the school.
