Young Brass Players of the Future
Boys in PP1 had the opportunity to listen to and play a variety of brass instruments during one of their music lessons last week.
Harry Beach (L6), who has been working with the boys and Mrs Fletcher every Wednesday afternoon as part of the school’s Community Action project, brought in a tuba, a euphonium, a tenor horn, a trombone and a cornet. Harry demonstrated how to play each of the instruments then he helped the boys to have a go at playing them.
The tuba was a firm favourite - even though it was bigger than some of the boys! All thanks to Harry for demonstrating his musical expertise and working so positively with all PP1 boys.
