Tey for National Youth Choir

Tey Kamal (S1) has been selected for the prestigious National Youth Choirs of Great Britain (NYCGB)
He attended an audition in November and discovered he had been successful just before Christmas. He has joined the boys’ choir and will attend his first residential workshop at Easter when he will also perform with the choir at the Royal Albert Hall.
The choir comprises of five constituent choirs for young people from primary school age to those leaving University. The choir aims to be the most inspirational and innovative organisation for young singers in the UK, discovering and nurturing exceptional musical talent, providing unrivalled performance opportunities, creating the next generation of music-lovers and choral enthusiasts.
He is active with singing both in and outside school. This result is a fitting reward for all that effort. Well done Tey!
