The History Society's Annual Quiz took place last week. The turnout of entrants was extremely high, making the competition even tougher. Students Isobel Abebrese, Harry Beach and Nicole Parkes formulated twenty questions covering the history of sport, music, art and general history which the entrants grappled with.
The result was a tie between a team consisting of Charles Gray (Joint History Society President), Jacob Barrett and Gabriel Turner and a team consisting of Harry Clay (Joint History Society President) and Ben Doyle. A tough sudden death question was posed on American vice-presidential history and Harry Clay's team emerged victorious in the battle of the presidents, winning the £25 cash prize!
Well done to the winners and those who participated.
