S1 and their accompanying teachers were very fortunate to experience the delights of Warwick Castle and Bosworth Battlefield on a sunny day in an otherwise wet week.
Although the Trebuchet was out of action, the boys marvelled at the grand castle buildings at Warwick and enjoyed an impromptu talk by the Warwick bowman. The second half of the day was spent at Bosworth Battlefield and on a perfectly still afternoon, the boys listened with interest to Liz as they were guided around the battlefield site and they had the opportunity to practice medieval style drill tactics under the tutelage of Paul, the Bosworth soldier. Then back to school and home in the rain!
