On Friday 24th April Birkdale Prep School hosted the Sheffield Institute Foundation for Motor Neurone Disease 2009 Grand Auction.
We were joined by local MP and Leader of the Liberal Party, Mr. Nick Clegg MP who started the lots rolling with a signed House of Commons bottle of Whiskey going for £100.
Lots of fun and excitement ensued with the bidding competitively hot. A superb final total of £5,736 was raised for the charity, a single event record for the Prep School.
