Wish you were here?

PP1 had an important job to do last week. They walked along Clarkehouse Road to deliver the postcards they have made as part of their ‘People who help us’ topic. Earlier the boys enjoyed taking photographs from around Belmayne House, which they used to create their postcards. They carefully wrote their messages to their parents in their neatest handwriting.  During lessons they learnt about the journey letters and parcels take, from the Post box until it arrives safely at its destination.

Knights, Castles, Arrows and Archery

This week, PP3 had a special visitor. Costard, a squire from Conisbrough Castle, came to our classrooms to ask for help. He wanted the boys to create Knights Handbooks for him to take back so that he could show the naughty pages and squires how to become knights. He hoped that this would help him to become a knight too. Of course, we agreed to help, as the PP3 boys are such great writers.
