Beyond the Classroom - Trips and Visits
The school organises a wide variety of trips throughout the school year. These are an important part of school life. They are also part of a programme which extends from Pre-Prep through to the Sixth Form in the Senior School.
Trips are mostly within the school day, but some involve taking place over a few days with residential accomodation.
The aims of trips are:
- Fun and adventure
- To forge and cement relationships within pupil groups and with staff
- To add and reinforce work done within the school
Examples of recent trips are Pre-Prep 3 (Y2) to Skipton Castle, Prep 3 (Y5) and Prep 4 (Y6) to a residential weekend at The Oakes, Sheffield.
