Welcome to the Pre Prep.....

This is a happy and friendly department catering for boys aged 4+ to 6+, where each boy is encouraged to play a full part in the life of the school. The happy atmosphere, structured framework and disciplined environment encourage the very youngest children to move confidently from home to more formal teaching.

In the Pre-Prep we very much believe that education is a partnership between school and home. We recognise and encourage the central role that parents play in their son’s learning and development.

To achieve this, we try to inform and involve parents as much as we possibly can.

We aim to produce well-rounded, articulate boys by providing a balanced curriculum covering all aspects of their development.

We aim to develop the boys as learners, encouraging them in how to work, play and co-operate with others.

We encourage you to come and experience for yourself the happy and stimulating atmosphere that exists in the pre-preparatory classes, to see our boys at work and at play as well as to talk to our caring and well-qualified staff. Only a visit can really demonstrate what we can offer your son on their first steps into education.
