Pre-Prep enjoyed a wonderful World Book Day, albeit a week late due to the snow last week. The children and staff looked brilliant all dressed up in stripes and the energy was high for a fun packed day.

There was an exciting hunt for ‘Wally cards’ hidden all around Belmayne House. Each ‘Wally’ displayed a word to read and record. Later the older children used these to create ‘Wally’ sentences books back in the classrooms. A highlight of the day was when we played giant live games of Where’s Wally together as a whole school.

Everyone made a striped gingerbread Wally biscuit but they didn’t last long because they were so delicious. Everyone enjoyed the day and the opportunity to enjoy books in a different way.
