PP2 have really enjoyed their Geography topic this term. They have looked at maps and atlases to learn about countries from all around the world.  They also thought carefully about what transportation they could use to travel around our globe.  However, the favourite part of their studies was looking at different flags; therefore a trip to the Jubilee Centre was a terrific treat.

There are so many flags to see hanging from the balconies.  Mrs Fletcher explained that a new flag is displayed when someone from a different country visits the church; hopefully this makes them feel welcome and gives them happy memories of home whilst at the services.

Everyone agreed it was amazing to see that so many people from different nations have made Sheffield their home. The boys were excited to spot flags they already knew and enjoyed the challenge of using their atlases to identify flags they didn’t know.
