Prep pupils have been celebrating World Book Day in style. One by one they arrived in fantastic costumes; following a ‘creatures’ theme. It was not long before ‘Peter Rabbit’ was vastly outnumbered by ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ and all manner beasts and their owners were creating new and exciting playground games.

Mr Scholey took a special ‘World Book Day Assembly’ that included a Teachers v Pupils competition. The pupils got the opportunity to show off their costumes to the rest of the school and there were lots of book and reading activities during the day, including some members of P4 who shared their ‘magical’ stories with Pre-Prep.

Thank you to all pupils and parents for their amazing and creative costumes. These occasions foster a love of books and stories, and really encourage the pupils to enjoy their reading.
