The History Department organised a trip to Kenilworth Castle as part of the S5 GCSE studies, the first school trip since lockdown. Aided by excellent early autumn weather the day was highly successful and included expert guided tours of what was one of the great castles in English History as well as a walk around what is said to be the largest ruin in England. The Castle was closed to the public and we shared it with the BBC for their Antiques Roadshow programme.
