The school organises a wide variety of trips throughout the school year. These are an important part of school life.

Pupils in all year groups experience day trips, with Prep 2-4 enjoying residential trips. Residential trips include:

Year 4 (P2) Castleton – 1 night
Year 5 (P3) Lake District Humanities Expedition – 4 nights
Year 6 (P4) French Trip – 4 nights

The aims of the trips are:

• fun and adventure
• to forge and cement relationships within pupil groups and with staff
• to complement and reinforce work done within the school and enhance understanding of curriculum topics
